For Twilight Fans!

Hi all you Meyerites!
It is almost here... the Twilight movie comes out this weekend, and if you haven't visited it in a while, you really should check out Stephenie Meyer's website (linked here) to get fully caught up on all things Twilight. Also, if you haven't heard, Borders had a movie release party last night that I didn't make it to--but I hope you did! Check this page out to see behind-the-scenes footage of the movie and all sorts of other cool stuff to get you ready for this weekend.

So, the question is... how many times do you think you'll go see Twilight over Thanksgiving break? Hmm...

It's time for me to throw some trivia out there to get everyone fired up for the movie! Answer me these questions three:

1. What science lab is Bella participating in when she passes out and has to be taken to the nurse?
2. What sport are the Cullens very fond of?
3. What is James' gift? How does it affect Bella and Edward?

Maybe I'll scare up a little prize for whoever answers them correctly first!

Analie, you got the questions 100% correct-- congratulations! I've deleted your responses to give others a shot at them as well... I think I'll have a few different prizes. Maybe we'll do them over the morning announcements... a plan is forming!

My sister is quite baffled, and er- mad! She cannot remember the third questions answer!

1. Blood testing
2. Baseball
3. ERGGGG I can't remember what james was!(Who was james again?!?! Thats bad when you forget a character!) But I do know that Alice had the power to see in the future, Edward can read thoughts, and Jasper can lighten the mood. I guess I'm not totally hopeless!

#1 Blood types
#2 Baseball
#3 James' gift is ummm i know this! Isn't it being able to track people's scents or something like that?

Oh and it effects Bella because he can track where she's been and get ahold of Charlie and Renee. And it effects Edward because he has to stop him before James can hurt any of her family and friends and possibly kill Bella

Wait a second....I don't remember James at all! Is he a different book than Twilight?!?!? Because so far I've only read the first book!!!

Sorry Rachael-- James is in the first one. He's the vampire chasing them that Edward fights to the death at the end!

Okay folks-- the Twilight Trivia game is officially closed! I've got two winners. KATE and ANALIE, come by the library tomorrow to pick up your prizes!
Want to know the answers? They are as follows:
1. Bella is participating in a blood-typing science experiment.
2. Baseball
3. James' gift is tracking. It effects Bella and Edward because he decides Bella is his prey, and he chases them throughout the end of the novel. I won't give away how that turns out for those of you who haven't read the book. Oh, and if you've seen the movie previews, he's the guy with the blond ponytail that keeps sniffing the air. Ha!
--Thanks to all who participated! See you at the movie!

I actually haven't seen the movie...I can't remember if I've told you that, but it seemed like I wasn't missing anything. Or so that's what everyone was telling me.

I'll be waiting for the DVD release, I guess.

By strolling through your old posts, there's so much Twilight stuff! I'm also glad that you've started a book club, we've got one at FHS, nd right now they're reading David Sedaris's "To Be Engulfed In Flames" and were selling paperback copies of them for five dollars! Sadly, I don't have the time (that's my motto nowadays) but will probably join and let you know how high school book clubs go. :)
