Inkheart Book Club Begins!

And so we embark on a new adventure! Alas, however, I have no book, so I will be behind you guys unless I can get to the library tonight (highly unlikely). All right, bookies-- my new nickname for you-- let's read to p. 204, chapter 20 entitled "Snakes and Thorns" by the end of break. Is that good with everyone? And let's try to post comments periodically when we read something interesting, confusing, wonderful, etc. :)

And also, let's welcome Jamia to the club; she's got a book and hopefully she'll be posting soon.

Happy holidays to one and all!

Hi Bookies!

Mrs. P has rejoined you after denying the existance of All Things Work Related (including the blog, obviously) for some much-needed rest. I apologize for the abandonment. :) Okay, so all copies of the book have been checked out at the public library, and I spent the first part of break reading a Stephen King novel that was a gift, so I have to go purchase another copy from Borders and play some serious catchup this weekend on Inkheart to get where I need to be next week. You know I can do it, though! But do tell-- what do you guys think so far? Are you enjoying it? Has anyone heard anything about the movie? I'll look it up, but I thought it was supposed to be released around Christmas... hmm...

Give me an update, please, and Happy New Year to one and all!
:)

I did just look it up, and it is slated to be out January 29th. Think we can finish the book by then? If so, maybe we should then plan a trip to see it in the theater or something! Just a thought.
