Summertime Talk! Post III

Well here we are... the waning days of summer. You're probably thinking I'm getting ahead of myself, but I've got a lot of work-related stuff coming up in the weeks ahead, so to me I'm staring down the barrel of the school year. :) Oh well. C'est la vie.

I've checked out three more books from the library-- 9th Grade Slays, The Off Season, and The Thirteenth Tale-- but I'm only counting on finishing one of them before it's time for Breaking Dawn. I am very excited to see how Stephenie Meyer wraps up this story! I also recently stumbled across a new trailer for the Twilight movie-- have you seen it yet? If not, click here to check it out. It's very action-packed!

Sounds like you guys are doing well and enjoying your summer... keep it up and stay in touch!

:)

Hey, I forgot about this. Another librarian showed me a cool site where you plug in books that you like and it will suggest more reading material for you. Give it a shot if you're out of ideas!

http://whatshouldireadnext.com/search

This may not show up hyperlinked, but you can try copying it and pasting it into your address bar. Let me know what you think!

Yeah!Nice to hear from you too! I am loving the series so far. I am only about half way through the fourth book, and it is getting really good! Yesterday I was freaking out that I couldn't find the second book for Doug, (he started after me.) but I found it. Nathan finished the fourth book.
I am nervous for Fair. I have two projects this year, and I have never gotten an award above champion, which is so close to getting a plague! (pronounced "plack" sorry about spelling.)I am the only kid in my family that hasn't gotten one. ERG!
Anyway, what books have you been reading?

Hey Analie!

Yes, it is August, and I've been in class yesterday and today (Reading to Remember), then Thursday we librarians have our kickoff meeting all day, then Friday one of my college friends is coming in for the weekend, so tomorrow I need to clean the house and get organized. Therefore, I am looking at next week to go in (I know, that's pushing it close, isn't it?). We've got work days Thursday and Friday, so I'll for sure be in on those days, but I'm thinking Tuesday I would like to get a head start on the shelves. Could you meet me on that day? Maybe say 9:30-10ish? I would appreciate your help (and anyone else who wants to come in, BTW!), for sure.

I just finished reading Breaking Dawn. It was very... interesting. I don't want to say much else presently; I need to reflect! :) I'm moving on to The Thirteenth Tale. Maybe I'll get one more finished before summer is history!

Let me know if you can make it Tuesday, Analie et al!

mrs. Pulley,

Tuesday next week? i have cello at 5 pm, so it should work. where would i meet you? altona or blue mountain? next week on thurs. and fri? or this week and next week? sorry to be pushing the questions! it sounds as if you didnt like it. *breaking dawn* how was the party for the release? was that the last book of the series until midnight sun comes out? i personally thought that new moon was slightly less...exciting, compared to twilight. what's the thirteenth tale, sounds oddly familiar.

ciao!

shalom, mrs. Pulley,

just to warn you, are internet is down due to aol, *which includes a very long and tediously anger-filled explaination* and i'm typing by laptop at borders. if you wish to contact me, i suggest calling, *how did you get my number in the first place?* , and since i dont have your number *please do not post it*, do not email or blog me *well, you can, but it would take a while for me to reply.* i hope this goes through...

ciao!
