Who's seen It? What do you think?

All right, people-- What's the verdict? 4 stars? 3? 2? 1? Do tell!

It was terrible it didn't follow the book whatsoever and some of the characters were missing! Atchually I don't know I haven't seen the book or the movie but that is what I heard from all my friends who did read the book and watched the movie I just felt like commenting lol

I Really Liked it...
Even if some parts were bad I feel that lots of people say they don't like it to prove how big of a fan they are to the book. I can honestly say that I have NO trouble whatsoever liking both of them at the same time in their own special way. Grover was awesome, Percy was awesome, the effects were good, and the new plot still made sense.

Gosh it didn't follow the plot at all. Like they still needed to find the bolt, and the still went to the casino and Aunty Em's Gnome emporium, but the reason they were there was to find these pearls that would get them out of the underworld. (These came from Persephone, not Posiedon.)
It was a good movie if you didn't think of the book.

I hated it! i think that if someone wants to make a movie based on the book, that it shoud actually be like the book. through the whole movie i was thinking "that happened differently" and also they put a lot of the movie based on the second book too:(

Hmm, sounds like a lot of mixed opinions...it got a 50% on Rotten Tomatoes...lots of people saying it was just another Harry Potter, others arguing against that...

I guess I'll just have to see it...when it comes out on dvd.

I agree with Rachel! Also, weren't they supposed to be 12??? They looked like high-school kids AND they were driving... If I hadn't read the books, though, I would have liked the movie and the special effects.
