I think the movie was GREAT! There were many differences and similarities between the movie and the book! Like, I'm pretty sure in the book Anderson was a boy! So are we meeting this Thursday?
I like to move it a lot too, the music was intense, the CGI was great, and the actors were for the most part perfect. I think the next book should be The Hobbit. I haven't read it and I don't know if anyone else in the Book club has.
Book: I thought the book was absolutely brilliant! Once I finish the Percy Jackson series, or over Thanksgiving Break, I'm definitely going to read it again (: I thought that the book was a lot more detailed, and it allowed your mind to think about it, which is always good.
Movie: Ender's Game was one of the best movie's by the year! It followed the book mostly, and even though some things weren't precise, they were still understandable. The movie also allowed you to try and see the whole thing from Ender's point of view.
Over-all: I honestly can't choose whether I liked the book, or movie more. They were both fantastic, phenomenal, and great!
Book was really great! had more details than the movie. Movie was good except for the following: Ender was six when he went to battle school, and so was Stilton. Also, Stilson didn't beat Ender up because of a game, he tried to beat him because he called Ender a Third and Ender hit him first. Ender also played the fantasy game like 4-5 times before he got to the End of the World place. And graff didn't request for anderson to delete the game. the playground of werewolf children weren't there, and neither was the village of the giant's corpse. When Ender did the simulation in command school, the book said he was winning every battle, but he lacked sleep. The movie showed him losing his 2nd game. Ender went to the buggers planet soon after he destroyed the race with Valentine in the book. The movie had the egg on the command school. Plus, the creepy part where Ender finds the giants corpse and the End of the World cliff wasn't in the movie. Other than that, it was a really cool movie! This is josh by the way
the movie was really great. it was better than other book to movies. I understand why ender wasn't six and all that stuff. I also like the space station they made. It was really descriptive just like the book. It did not leave important parts out of the movie. I am just confused why they left out Locke and the demosthenes and the end of the world. I also did not like when they made him lose a game, but the games were really exact to the book.
P.S. Josh you creeped me out by posting as brian dvorak. I was thinking why a random guy posted until i read the last sentence
